‘A Thousand Perfect Notes’ | Heartbreaking and Funny, With The Addition Of Cake

January 18, 2019

One of my goals for this year is to read more books, 52 at the minimum, and to review as many of them as possible. And while I read ‘A Thousand Perfect Notes’ by C. G. Drews right at the end of 2018, reviewing it belongs entirely to this year. Mostly I’m reviewing them over on Goodreads, trying to write at least a few words for every book I finish. However, for ‘A Thousand Perfect Notes’ I’m trying something a little different: A video review!

That’s right. My face is on camera and I am enthusing mightly about a book I firmly believe you all need to read. It has cake, music, and characters you just want to hug and take care of for a little while to give them a break. It’s heartbreaking and also funny, and so much more besides. If that catches your attention, then you should see the rest of my review:

I’m thinking of posting more of these video reviews on YouTube and my blog in the future. Would you be interested in seeing more of my thoughts on some of the books I’m reading this year? Have you read ‘A Thousand Perfect Notes’ yet? Are you interested in picking up a copy in the near future? And who else is getting hyped for ‘The Boy Who Steals Houses’?
